Tim Card Poker Deal – Trick

The magician explains that he or she is going to play three hands of ten card poker with the spectator. The spectator then freely takes five of the ten cards. Acting as only a good con artist would, the magician allows the spectator to win the first two hands.

The spectator’s excitement and confidence grows. The magician acts dejected and then desperate and asks the spectator if he can go triple or nothing on the last hand. After some convincing, and possibly some begging, the spectator relents and allows a third hand to be played.

The magician then easily defeats the spectator with the last hand dealt, proving magicians never really lose a card game!

Bob Farmer LOVES Tim’s version and it is featured in his book THE BAMMO TEN CARD DEAL DOSSIER.

An alternative presention by Rolando Santos can be found in Tim’s book TIMELESS MAGIC.
